In the worst-kept secret this week Evgeni Prigozhin, the recently departed owner of the Wagner Private Army, was killed in a private plane crash. His private jet Embraer was shot down near Moscow. Rumored to be by a Russian Army missile air defense system C-300 according to the YouTube Channel Inside Russia.
C’mon Man!!!
He tried to take out Putin and this was inevitable. Russia is losing the southern front in Ukraine…their moon mission crashed…and Putin needed the narrative changed. He couldn’t be seen as weak.
So he made top generals disappear, and he took out Prigozhin in an attempt to save face. Wagner troops are being loaded into airplanes and no one knows where they are going. But the organization is done and gone. All to save face. And the world knows that Putin is weak.
So What’s Next?
I anticipate something brutal and excessive will happen against Ukraine and more innocents will be harmed. The West will wring their hands but will do nothing because…no one wants Russia…there isn’t anything of value in Western Russia anymore…
And it shows Russia’s weakness…
The question is are we seeing the beginning of the end or will Putin recover?
